Kavaliauskas to Covel

I was just on a radio program and the host off the air asked for the proper pronunciation of my last name ‘Covel’. I said pretend saying with two l’s and you will have it. My last name over the last 100 years has gone from Kavaliauskas to Covalesky to Covel. It is Lithuanian.
