ARE OPPORTUNIT AINS By Brandon Jones 09 TraderPlanet Digital Journal
E very investor and trader experiences loss. It is a reality of working in the markets. More than a few, however, suffer confidence-destroying setbacks. Many find success again, but not all. Some struggle to recover, as such confidence destruction is crippling, creating a paralyzing fear about getting back into the market, yet it is possible to regain confidence. Drawing inspiration from another might be one way … IES FOR For each of the first 500 Likes, Tweets and/or shares, TraderPlanet will donate $1 to Avi’s charity of choice. Meet Avi Davidson, a young man of twenty who is doing young man things —going to school, working at a job, and participating in his community. Although “happy” is a relative term, if asked, Avi would say he is happy, but he would also say life can be difficult. “Three years ago a friend told me something and I can say from experience it is true, ‘Not every day will be a good day, not every day will be easy.’” Life for Avi is not easy, yet when he speaks, his words sparkle and he exudes positive and infectious energy. He would be the first to say that no matter the loss, overcome it, aim to become as whole as possible again. “My determination pushes me to continue to fight no matter the struggle; it tells me I can do it.” This young man faces his struggle without self-pity, and he seeks none from others. He pushes his life forward, confident it will turn out as planned —a future of helping others who have experienced traumatic loss. “My accident caused me to open my eyes to my surroundings, so I could see the hurt in the world and try to mend it, and possibly, just possibly, help others who are struggling.” TraderPlanet Digital Journal 10
