Founded in June 2001 beginning with the launch of its flagship site, The Technical Trader, AdviceTrade has grown into a family of online investing publications used daily by thousands of investors in more than 30 countries around the world. Richard Hefter, founder and president of AdviceTrade, was editor-in-chief of the financial news site, AmericaInvest.com. Online Investor Magazine named him one of the Top 25 financial columnists on the Web in its October 2000 issue. A graduate of Stanford University and the Iowa Writers' Workshop, Hefter is widely published, with articles in Red Herring, Morningstar, CBS MarketWatch, Christian Science Monitor, Chicago Magazine and Newsday.

The Technical Trader, a partnership with technical analyst Harry Boxer, features a real-time diary of Mr. Boxer's day & swing trading stock ideas. The site's free content is widely syndicated throughout the Web and Mr. Boxer is a frequent guest on sites and programs such as CNBC and MarketWatch.com, and a frequent presenter at The Traders Expo. Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities Magazine featured an article on The Technical Trader in its November 2002 issue. and another on Mr. Boxer in its September 2005 issue. MPTrader.com, a partnership with technical strategist Mike Paulenoff, features a real-time diary of Mr. Paulenoff's trade alerts and technical chart analysis on key markets such as metals, crude oil, equity indices (Dow, S&P, Nasdaq), Treasuries, Asian markets and the Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) for trading these markets.
