I have been in the market in some form since being a teenager, first with mutual funds, than onto to stocks. Now it is 20 years later. It has been a passion of mine, and as any investor, I've had my ups, downs, and tuition extracted from learning the ins and outs. &quot;If I only knew then...&quot; and I continue to learn each day. I have a BA in economics from the University of Michigan (Go Blue!), and work in finance (not related to Wall St). Obviously my goal is to work in investment management, so that I don't need to &quot;work&quot; another day of my life.<br /><br /><span>Mission: Raise $7M from blog readers to launch a real mutual fund. By providing a transparent platform for a virtual growth mutual fund, I'll create a mechanism by which readers can view my thought process &amp; results in creating a 3 year return. I'll invest in 30-50 positions with secular growth trends with economic commentary thrown in. NOTE: I'm running this as a LONG focused mutual fund - not as a daytrader, hedge fund, short focused individual trader, etc. Comments welcome!</span>
