TAAcademy.com a.k.a Technical Analysis Academy was established to bring forward outstanding courses about Technical Analysis, TA for short. All instructors are successful traders and well versed in the analysis of the financial markets using TA. Each has his or her own trading style and strategies, transforming the learning process in a rich and gratifying experience. This combination brings to the dedicated student a unique opportunity to learn from the best and to achieve the level of independent thinking that is required to be successful in the markets. Our teaching philosophy embodies many years of teaching experience, mentoring and coaching. Our trading approach applies the skills acquired in over 20 years of experience in Research and Development.

Jose Cid has been involved in the trading industry dating back to 1998. He started using Fundamental Analysis to make decisions until he found Technical Analysis, which is closely related with his beliefs about market mechanisms (supply and demand). Since 2003 Jose teaches Technical Analysis and has helped countless traders to take their trading skills to the next level. He is a member of the Canadian Society of Technical Analysis since 2007. Jose hosts weekly chats (in English and Portuguese) analysing the North American markets, ADRs and ETFs. In his vision Trading and Investing are businesses and require knowledge, planning and disciplined execution of the plan.
