Chartered Market Technician (CMT) question

Hi everyone

This is my first post at Trader Planet ;). I am a commodities trader, and I specialize in OTM options. Lately, I have been looking into joining MTA (Market Technicians Assoc) and taking their CMT L1 exam. The cost of membership and exam are quite high, and I am trying to figure out if it is worth the trouble.

Does anybody have experience with MTA and their CMT program? Did the CMT open new doors for you? Good or bad, please share your experiences! Thanks
