Future Trading - Success in hand!

Hi everybody! Is it a good idea to figure out what we are going to trade in the future? How can we be successful in trading commodities in future such as Grain, Crude Oil, Metals, Silver, Gold, etc...? Are free reports and commodity information from others useful to provide us enough materials to get our business successful and profitable in the future? Just say Grain Markets, how can we know that we have enough information to make good contracts on that commodity in the future when there are lots of things happening around the world related to climate? Or Crude Oil, it is considered as a hot topic related to society and policitcs! Many things impact on the prices of Crude Oil in the future, and the problem is the environment! Metals or Silver also, how can we control the prices and make good decision on those commodities? Thanks for your help!
