Today the market got an early push to build on yesterday’s bounce, but has faded in the late morning/early afternoon. This is not surprising action considering the long-term trend is still firmly to the downside. Stocks reached extreme oversold reading late last week, so it is natural that we saw a strong short-term bounce. The real significance to any bounce is how far and how long it can go….
