It is Christmas Eve day, and for many in the world, this is a time for family, friends, and sharing. For those who celebrate this holiday, my best wishes to you. For those who do not, I am sure you have your equivalent holiday, so when you do celebrate it, I wish the same for you.
As to the market, well, half days are always less than whole-hearted, so what goes on today will have little bearing on the near-term direction. The fiscal cliff negotiations are far more important, and at this point, I would like to point out a maxim I try to live by – no expectations means no disappointments, only surprises.
