Sara Creek Gold Corp. is a junior mining exploration and development company headquartered in Nevada, USA. The Company has signed an agreement to purchase a 50% interest in two contiguous exploration concessions totalling 569.2 square kilometers from Orion Resources N.V. in the small, stable South American nation of Suriname. Together the concessions are known as the Sara Creek Project.  Sara Creek is exercising their option to purchase 100%. Three appearances of a visible gold-bearing quartz out-crop has been discovered as the plan is in motion to commence mining the properties in both Nassau and Rosebel discoveries. Suriname – South America’s smallest independent nation is one of the most active place in the world for gold exploration and new mine development. The Sara Creek Gold Corp. has a history of long-lived and on-going gold mining by small-scale alluvial operations and, more recently, saprolite mining of the country rock and shafts in quartz veins. This remains one of the most active areas of placer and quartz vein mining with numerous large nuggets found in the district.
