A paid promotion and some favorable PR made yesterday the traded for the last time at the end of June Kurrant Mobile Catering, Inc. (OTC:KRMC) stock suddenly wake up. The stock saw its heaviest trading volume ever, and promises even more action during the session today.KRMC.png

Yesterday’s promotion obviously reached very broad coverage as five different promoters alerted KRMC stock to their subscribers. The compensation received was $100,000 and it has been paid for a one-week advertising services contract. Results were impressive for the stock that generally got very little attention from the public in its short trading history. The trading volume of 1.77 million shares was the highest ever and on the strong demand the share price run 56.67% up and closed at $0.235.

Maybe in order to provide the background for that run-up, Kurrant announced on Friday afternoon that it will initiate in December broad national coverage for its new title Charles Manson Now. But the more impressive news came out yesterday afternoon, announcing that the book is already sold out before the planned start of the media coverage and now has to be reprinted.KurrantMobile.jpg

On the strong combination of PR and promotions, KRMC shares seem to be experiencing comparable demand. They are already in the overbought area and the company has been quite active in shares “reprinting” recently. According to the latest quarter report, Kurrant issued in the three months ended this August 50 million new shares of common stock as compensation for certain services received. Among other things, this led to the recognition of additional expenses amounting $9.7 million and to a net loss of $16.48 million.

Even if such expenses do not occur any more and Kurrant gets profitable operations, the lack of sufficient cash will likely lead to further dilution.
