PTSC-logo.jpgA new reseller sparkles the imagination of Patriot Scientific Corp.(OTC:PTSC) shareholders. After the calm, slow and methodical February, the stock has exploded and as far as speculations on the Internet are concerned, the hype is likely to continue.
On a related subject, there are some infamous connections of Patriot to marketing companies, which had trouble with the Ontario Securities Commission, but this is the thing of the past. Nowadays, subjects are the patents of the company, the agreement with SRA international to be a reseller for a Patriot subsidiary products, and mainly – is this stick for a long ride again? PTSC-28.02.11.png
Now, the easiest way to find the answer is by looking around in forums and blogs. They, however, not only share good opinions about the company exclusively, but dream results about $1 per share. Which, in terms, is not exactly what the present and near future situation might be.
Patriot stock did explode – especially last Friday when the price reached $0.14, accompanied by 2 million shares traded. Today`s session, however, started with a slow decline, and this might be due to the additional research some traders have done during the weekend. 
One of the things that they might have found is the fact that a huge number of pending patents by the company have been attacked in court. Let alone there are past occasions resembling close the situation on the market this year, which started with a hype and skyrocketing price, followed by a sharp decline shortly after. [BANNER]
In general, this is one more enterprise on the OTCBB, but unlike most of the other listed players, it offers a better balance sheet. For example, the last 10-Q report with end date Nov. 30th indicates the following:
  • total current assets of $12 million;
  • total current liabilities of $1.3 million;
  • total accumulated deficit of $43 million;
If sales figures improve due to this partnership with SRA, traders might see their investments triple in value. On the other hand, if the uncertainty that prevails up-to-date remains it would be hard to predict when the next sharp decline would begin.
