How to Nominate Products and Services
We welcome nominations from any financial vendor. There are no fees associated with the nomination process.
TraderPlanet considers commercially available trading platforms, strategy software, market data, newsletters, courses and books. Please prepare the nomination form completely to provide us with required information to effectively write a review of your product and the name of a contact should our Editorial staff have questions. We will review pre-release (alpha or beta) versions of products as long as you provide some indication of the product's progress.
In completing the nomination process, vendors agree in advance to the STAR Finalist Promotion Requirements.

Will you hear from us?
Yes. Anyone that submits a nomination will receive a response from us within two weeks via email. This will serve as an acknowledgement of your nomination - it does not guarantee that TraderPlanet will conduct a review. If you have not heard from us for more than 4 weeks, please call or send an e-mail inquiry and we'll track your product. If your nomination is accepted, you will be notified of the pending review and additional logistical details will be communicated to the primary contact listed on the nomination form.What happens to products that are submitted?
Submissions are cataloged and immediately provided to our editorial staff. Once we have enough information to complete our evaluation, we publish the review on TraderPlanet.com. In addition to appearing on the TraderPlanet site, we may also use excerpts of the review as information for articles we might also be working on for other publications. Once the review process is completed, any product materials are stored on-site and may be offered for auction (to benefit charity) or member contest giveaways. What if you don't agree with the review or notice a mistake? Vendors are welcome to submit their opinions about a review via admin@traderplanet.com. We especially appreciate learning about any changes, planned improvements or modifications, or other details.Use of Award Seals
The TraderPlanet STAR Awards Seal may be used by a vendor for the year it was earned. Publishers are notified by email. Finalist Award benefits include:- Inclusion in the member voting process for the annual TraderPlanet STAR Awards.
- Creatives of the TraderPlanet STAR Award seal for web site and print media.
- TraderPlanet issues press release announcing award grant via PR Web.
- Eligibility to purchase TraderPlanet site sponsorship packages at significantly reduced rates.
- Utilize a TraderPlanet Design consultant to create a print ad announcing the award achievement.
Terms of Use for TraderPlanet STAR Award Seals: Notice that these seals can only be used with written permission, and there are no associated fees with using these images. You must agree to the following rules in order to use a seal:
(1) If the submission is upgraded or changed (as marked by a change in the title, ISBN number, or version/build number) the seal may not be used until a new review is conducted.
(2) TraderPlanet STAR Award seals are dated -- publishers must display the seal marked with the correct year. TraderPlanet STAR Award Seals are only available in electronic form.
To use a quote
All quotes or excerpts from reviews must be given proper attribution (TraderPlanet.com and date) and approved by TraderPlanet management. To have a quote approved, please send via fax to 813.751.1688. We will sign or modify the quote and send it back to you.Linking to reviews
