Marc Faber, the famed investor who is nicknamed “Dr. Doom”, is bullish on equities in relationship to treasuries, and gold which he sees as alternative currency. MarketWatch’s Jonathan Burton reports.

In a nutshell, Faber advises the following:

1.     Avoid Treasuries.

2.     Cash in trash.

3.     Stocks offer some safety.

4.      Emerging markets will expand.

5.     Gold is worth its weight.
