Senator-elect Pat Toomey recently gave a speech outlining his concerns about the Federal Reserve s not likely to be very effective is that everyone else can play that game too. We can devalue our currency and everyone else can do likewise. And then, we have a global round of competitive devaluations that gets us absolutely nowhere but can be enormously disruptive to the economy.
