DATATRAK Announces New VP, Sees Immediate Results
DATATRAK International, Inc. (DATA) is a technology and services company that provides electronic clinical solutions for the clinical trials industry. Its software suite is used to collect, review, transmit, and store clinical trial data electronically.
On October 4th 2010, DATATRAK announced the hiring of William (Bill) Gluck, Ph.D., as the company’s Vice President of Clinical and Consulting Services. Dr. Gluck, a thirty-year clinical trial industry veteran, will focus on building the company’s consulting and clinical services business. Dr. Gluck has diversified experience in clinical trial management systems, electronic data capture and the services that surround these solutions.
Prior to joining DATATRAK, Dr. Gluck served in management roles in sponsor companies for over 18 years including Amgen, BASF Life Sciences, Gilead Sciences, and Triangle Pharmaceuticals. He also brings the perspective of the very important CRO organization having served in them for seven years. Finally, Dr. Gluck continues to apply his skills in academia in university settings.
On October 5th, 2010, DATATRAK announced the award of a consulting contract with an existing global research-based biopharmaceutical client to provide clinical data management and trial design services. With the award of this contract, DATATRAK is expanding its staff to include experienced clinical data managers to provide services under the direction of Dr. Bill Gluck.
Renewing with Existing Clients
On October 11th, the firm announced the signing of an Enterprise Agreement for three new Phase III oncology studies with an existing client. These multi-center studies will be deployed utilizing the unified DATATRAK eClinical platform.
