The ISM Services Index increased to 53.2 in September, higher than the expected level of 51.9, after decreasing to 51.5 in August and increasing to 54.3 in July. The index’s complement, the ISM Manufacturing Index decreased to 54.4 on last Friday’s release after increasing to 56.3 in August.
