In recent news on the stock, Stericycle on July 28 reported Q2 EPS of 62 cents, which was above the analyst consensus of 60 cents. However, BofA/Merrill on July 21 downgraded the stock to Neutral from Buy, and Soleil on July 29 downgraded the stock to Hold from Gradually Accumulate due to valuation concerns. Stericycle, with a market cap of $5.6 billion, is the second-largest provider of regulated medical waste management services in the United States.
