Good Afternoon,
Well, the bulls were laying on their bearskin rugs throughout the day smoking victory cigars. They buying started at the open and continued through the entire session.
We had a good day in the portfolio today. Cavium Networks Inc (CAVM) has picked up about 5% off the open on Friday. Remember this stock was set to gap down at the open Friday so we removed the stop-loss order. Depending on how the day looks tomorrow we will reinstate it in the morning newsletter.
Bruker Corp (BRKR) picked up another 2.73% on the session today and is up nearly 7% since our entry two sessions ago.
AstraZeneca PLC (AZN) was up a nice 2.5% today and up nearly 6% since our entry point. This strock is technically on a very strong trend.
Companhia de Saneamento Basico (SBS) was up 3.2% today, and is almost break even from our entry point. If you remember, this stock sold off nearly 10% after our initial entry. The chart was so strong though we felt we had to hold on to it. We made the right decision.
Motorcar Parts of America Inc (MPAA) has been languishing lately, and although we are up only 3% since our entry we may take a profit at the next available opportunity. Holding a position that’s not moving is only asking for trouble.
It should be a very interesting market tomorrow after the big day we had today. Because of the fact the market opened high, we didn’t feel any play would have been in our best interests. We’ll pick it up again in the morning. Have a great evening.
