Normally I trade one currency pair, the eur/jpy. I am used to the pair. I know how it behaves most of the time. I know what times I can expect momentum in the currency pair, but there is one thing that is lacking to perfect my strategy for trading this pair. Ok, here is the question. I want to know where I can the get the most important news that affect this currency pair. Is there any news specifically for this currency pair?
This is an interesting question for a couple of reasons. The first reason is that the writer is asking for news, as opposed to analysis. I like that, and I like that a lot. Most folks ask for analysis. They want to know what someone else thinks is going to happen. This writer clearly states he is in control of his conclusions about trading the forex pair. All he wants is more information, more understanding to bring to bear on his trading. Yahoo!
The second reason is that his question is not easy to answer. Off hand, I did not know of a single public source of news that specifically relates to the eur/jpy pair, so I jumped on the Internet and found numerous analytical sources but not one single public news source. Granted, I could spend more time looking, but so could the questioner, and maybe he has, getting the same results I did. So, I don’t know if there is a single public news source for the eur/jpy pair. Does any one out there know of anything, public or private, that might help the questioner?

I am not sure what “path” he is thinking about, as I often reference life as well as trading. If it is trading, he is right, although many have traveled that path far longer and much deeper into the woods than I have. If it is life, the same is true. The important point, though, is that no matter the path you follow, pay attention to the details. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. If you come across something unfamiliar, question it; if it is unknown, find out about it. Learn everything you can learn in whatever context that surrounds you. Do not waver – make thoughtful choices. Some will turn out well, and others will not. Learn from both.
The good news is that if you are doing all of the above on your path, the years will be kind. You will attain some level of wisdom. When that happens, one can look back and say, “Yes, I walked that path well enough that now I have something worthwhile to say.”
