I wandered into a small yet wonderful bookstore on my vacation in Campbell River and “Beyond the Horizon” came highly recommended from the proprietor of the store. The author and his wife live nearby and have quite the worldwide adventure to share. I’ll definately let you know how I feel about the book when I actually start/finish it!
One travel book that I treasure is called “Blue Highways” by William Least Heat Moon. Check it out if you’re into the genre as this is a hidden gem.
