Despite the cold weather that the northern/northeastern US is experiencing now, the pattern looks to turn to a more seasonal (and even milder) winter pattern vs. last year after the first week in Jan. A shift to a warmer pattern vs last year is forecast for much on Jan2010, evidenced by the red colors (fewer HDDS) on the right side of this table, highlighting a potential opportunity for a pullback in natural gas and heating oil prices in Jan.
