Analysis and Recommendation:
The AUD/USD remains well above the 1.05 price level, trading at 1.0549 at this writing.
Home Loan’s in Australia reported well below forecast weakening the Aussie a bit in this morning’s session.
Australian markets were awaiting Thursday’s release of local employment figures for July and a raft of Chinese data, also for July. The Chinese data includes inflation figures, industrial production and retail sales.
The people who deal directly with China are starting to say that things (in the Chinese economy) are starting to stabilize. Markets are hoping that the data from China will show that they have accomplished their soft landing and that all the government policies are working.
