Silver is trading at 27.263 down a bit in today’s session. This report is being posted before the FOMC statement; please see our gold report for an update after the Federal Reserve statement is released.
At this time markets are positioning themselves on expectations that Bernanke and company will offer limited stimulus today, with the big guns reserved for September, while they wait to see what the ECB does later this week.
After negative data from China released this morning, the metals pack have been under pressure, as the largest consumer in the world continues to report slowdowns.
