After last Summers European debt scare, followed by a soaring stock market, investors did not want to be so easily fooled again. That is why US stocks only declined 10.5% during this pullback. And now after a bit of a rally only stands at 3.4% under the old highs.

You could say there is absolutely no risk premium in place any more for Europe. And no risk premium for a recession (even though economic reports like ISM have been on the softer side).

What in your opinion will it take for stocks to touch the old highs at 1420?

What will it take for them to press above to new highs?

And for the bears out there, why are you so sure that stocks will not progress higher?
