After the closing of a merger with Oryon Technologies, LLC on March 4, Oryon Technologies, Inc. (PINK:ORYN) commenced trading as ORYN. Over the weekend some promoters were paid to create some additional hype.
So far ORYN was doing fine without the promotions. On Friday it closed up 7.14 % at $1.20. The volume was the lowest since ORYN started trading, approximately 1.2 million shares.[BANNER]
One of the promoters disclosed a compensation of $50 thousand. The other was paid $25 thousand by an unrelated third party.
The company is engaged in the development of lighting technology. In particular Elastolite which allows for thin, flexible lighting systems to be incorporated into fabrics.
At this point it’s not clear how good ORYN will fare on the business side, but the market seems excited about the opportunity. It will also be interesting to see how the pumps may affect the market.
