WGAS_chart.pngWorthington Energy, Inc. (OTC:WGAS) f/k/a Paxton Energy, traded in high volumes during the last two sessions, but saying why may be a bit hard.

The name and symbol change took place last Friday. That day, WGAS closed up and the volume reached roughly 1.4 million shares.

Yesterday it was even higher, closer to 1.8 million, for a more moderate price increase of 1.30% at $0.078 per share.[BANNER]

Some posts on message boards suggest there could be a promotional campaign, but we haven’t been able to ascertain that for now.

It is, however, a likely explanation since the company hasn’t issued any press releases and the latest filing dates back to Jan. 11.

WGAS_logo.pngThe website of WGAS doesn’t say anything about the name and symbol change, and it hasn’t been changed to follow suit. At this point, there isn’t any solid information to get a better idea of what is actually going on with WGAS.
