Natural gas prices fell on Tuesday as weather forecasts suggest temperatures will rise next week which would weigh down on demand for natural gas as a heating fuel, which put natural gas prices under pressure. Moreover, speculations that natural gas stockpiles are approaching a record continued to weigh down on prices.

The outlook for natural gas supplies could still weigh down on natural gas prices, where natural gas stockpiles rose to 3.716 trillion cubic feet last week, well above the 5-year average, and just below the record set last year at 3.84 trillion cubic feet.
