Natural gas prices fell on Friday amid speculations that natural gas stockpiles are approaching a record high ahead of the winter season in the United States, where natural gas stockpiles are 3.2% above the five-year average, and 1.3% below last year’s record high, which put negative pressure on natural gas prices.

Natural gas prices could rise next week, as weather forecasts suggest that temperatures will be below their average for this time of the year in central and southern of the United States, which could boost demand for natural gas as a heating fuel, and that should push natural gas prices higher.
