Yesterday, MRV Communications Inc. (PINK:MRVC) lost approximately 4% on the market, on a substantially high traded MRVC_chart2.pngvolume. Though, the loss still doesn’t look like the end of the story as MRV is fighting for the climb.

Historical records show that the company has been silent since September, however, things suddenly changed. It was just yesterday when MRV reported that its OCS Division was to participate in the Carrier Ethernet World Congress this week.

According to Zeev Draer, VP of Strategic Marketing for MRV’s OCS division, the forum was not only to provide MRV OCS the opportunity to collaborate with some of the industry’s leading officials, but to also share its expertise and field-proven technologies in Carrier Ethernet Access and Service Provisioning solutions.

The busy schedule and optimistic statements of MRV might be able to encourage investors. Though, it is not certain if any of these are going to pump up the company’s stock price.[BANNER]

And despite its cash position, there are some risk factors and uncertainties in the quarterly report of MRV that appear to be beyond control.
