Forexpros – The U.S. Dollar was higher against the Canadian Dollar on Friday after the release of U.S. data on Nonfarm Payrolls.
USD/CAD was trading at 0.9818, up 0.48% at time of writing.
The pair was likely to find support at 0.9726, Wednesday’s low, and resistance at 0.9846, today’s high.
Earlier in the day, official data showed that U.S. non-farm payrolls remained unchanged unexpectedly at a seasonally adjusted 0K last month, from 85K in the preceding month whose figure was revised down from 117K.
Analysts had expected U.S. non-farm payrolls to rise 74K last month.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Dollar was up against the Euro and down against the British Pound, with EUR/USD shedding 0.26% to hit 1.4222 and GBP/USD rising 0.12% to hit 1.6200.
