Brookemont Capital Inc. (CVE:BKT) (PINK:BKTPF) stock price picked up on the dwindling uptrend once again after the company confirmed to have found some gold in the recently discovered arsenic soil anomaly.
BKT added 18.75% on Friday, continuing on the scattered short term uptrend the price has been holding for roughly half a month now. The stock had a trading volume of 4.5 million during the last session. That was nearly 11 times heavier than average turnover of 413 thousand.
The uptrend had begun to fall apart last week so it was only the good news that saved the bulls for now.
Brookemont said Friday morning the company found gold flakes in alluvial samples collected on their project in Tanzania. The company recently found a 4.5 km arsenic soil geochemical anomaly, sampling of which yielded these small pieces of gold. The location of gold was heavily intermittent though, thus the finding is of unclear importance right now. The zone wasn’t known to contain precious metals before the discovery.
The same story with less details to it is affecting the stock price since last Wednesday, keeping the uptrend alive and kicking. The stock price went above a couple of important support zones, at 16 and 16.5 cents, over the last three trading sessions and the news should be enough to keep it that way for now.
