HRTE-logo.jpgIf the first try is not successful, try again – it might work. Indeed, it did work for Here Enterprises Inc.(PINK:HRTE). Of course, given that getting back to penny levels was one of the targets set forth. The thing is, it is not the volume of traded shares or the change in the stock price that is the most interesting part from the session yesterday. HRTE-24.06.2011.png

As mentioned, Here Enterprises jumped above $0.01 again. This Monday, a press release came out, focusing on the efforts of the company in achieving major milestones. All in all – positive news which did not get much attention; thus, there was little effect on the stock market. Yesterday, however, a second press release came out, repeating the one from Monday and linking to it for additional information. At first sight, it seems that this time traders appreciated the news. The stock price jumped up 15%, supported by more than 19 million shares exchanging hands, the session closing at $0.01 per share. This is the situation at first sight.

A closer look at yesterday’s trading session, however, reveals that it was not really regular investors inspired by the PR that solely contributed to this hype. Out of the 19 million shares that exchanged hands, 8.2 million was due to short-selling. And this is not all. According to PumpsAndDumps.com, spam emails have been sent yesterday to further fuel the hype. Yet, the question remains – what comes next?

In terms of financial statements, the situation is not much better looking. According to the latest 10-Q statement with an end date Feb 28th, 2011, this is what the company data looks like:

  • $21k in total current assets (cash only); [BANNER]
  • $4.8 million in liabilities;
  • $4.6 million in deficit;
  • $78k in revenues (for the 3 months);
  • $181k in revenues since inception (2006);
  • $3.6 million in net loss (for the 3 months);

When combined, all of the facts at hand make up for one thing – uncertainty and unpredictability. There arethe milestones achievements, yet, there are also the mounting deficit, the shorters etc. While uncertainty by no means leads to failure, it also rarely attracts long-term investors, which could be the backbone of this enterprise.
