After a tremendous loss and a few price hesitations, THERMA-MED INC (PINK:THRA) hit the gain. Yesterday, the stock soared about 27% on the market and its traded volume rose up.
The sudden price jump certainly provoked attention as Therma-Med has not released any news this week and apparently there is another reason for the climb. In this case, it must be only one – promotions.
Yesterday, THRA was promoted heavily by a bunch of promoters, who spread out special alerts on the company all over the net. The campaign cost $85.000 in total to an unknown paying party who has paid the money to Garden State Resources NJ LLC as a deserved compensation for the stock alerts.
Having predicted huge gains for THRA, traders got impressed and the stock started moving up at full speed. Now it is interesting to see if the up move will continue.
Therma-Med is a Colorado based junior resource company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of precious and base metal mineral properties across Canada. The last news by the company came up a week ago, when THRA reported it has entered into a definite agreement to earn a 49% interest in Ag/Zn/Pb hosting mineral claims situated in the Mining Division of Slocan, B.C. The positive announcement, however, couldn’t pump up the stock price that much and it was shorty down.[BANNER]
Regarding the company’s financials, the situation is not optimistic at all. According to its 10-Q, during the three months ended March 31 this year Therma-Med had accumulated deficit and working capital deficit in thousands, while its cash totaled $nil. Besides, the company has issued 200 million restricted common shares to its CEO as a funding compensation for the 3-months period ended March 31.
Based on its financial results, Therma-Med is operating on a going concern basis, which contemplates the realization of assets and the satisfaction of liabilities in the normal course of business. Presently, THRA relies upon its new LOI regarding its mining property, while at the same time the company is still out of cash.
