New Home Sales for March increased to a 300,000 annual pace, following a revised 270,000 pace in February. Over the year New Home Sales are down 21.9% from 384,000 in March of 2010. The median sales price was $213,800 and the average sales price was $246,800. The estimate of new houses for sale at the end of March was 183,000, representing a supply of 7.3 months at the current sales rate.
