0NWTT_chart.pngWhen John Simmons woke up this morning and checked his mailbox, he learned that the stock of NW Tech Capital, Inc. (PINK:NWTT) was to be heavily promoted throughout the week. At first, he started toying with the idea of buying a large portion of NWTT and taking advantage of the prospective price pump. However, as soon as he noticed the name of the party which had paid $5 thousand for the advertising campaign, his enthusiasm vanished into thin air.

Along with many other penny stock investors, Simmons was perfectly aware of Oceanic Consulting LLC and the shady past of the person behind the company – Richard S. Roon. Described as ‘convicted felon’ by an iHub poster, Roon’s reputation seems pretty tarnished at present. Another poster added that virtually all the stocks promoted by Oceanic Consulting LLC reduced their value by 90% as soon as the promotional activities have come to a halt.

As far as the current case with NWTT is concerned, the investors’ awareness program comes hot on the heels of last Friday’s announcement of a possible expansion of the company’s mining portfolio with an Ontario-based platinum mining property. While NWTT might have every intention of operating in the best interests of its stockholders, it can hardly do so by announcing ‘a promising deal’ that is still ‘on the table’ and, therefore, still far from becoming a reality. NWTT’s fairly mediocre market performance last Friday is indicative of this assumption. The stock price only gained one pip, closing at $0.0004 per share. In addition, the traded volume of 78+ million can by no means be compared to its mid-January levels, when NWTT actually disclosed deals that had already been finalized. [BANNER]

The latest Q3 report revealed:

  • a minimal working capital deficit of $1000;
  • a nine-month net profit of $1.9 million;
  • no long-term liabilities.

NWTT_logo.jpgAlmost 95% of the 5 billion authorized NWTT shares have already been issued and outstanding, which leaves little room for any possible dilution. Provided that the Ontario mining property turns out to be full of platinum deposits, then NWTT and its stockholders will definitely strike it lucky. Prior to that, however, the company will have to raise capital to finance the transaction. Will the current advertising campaign contribute to the cause? Only time will tell.
