Consumer Confidence figures are expected today at 10:00 AM. Consumer Confidence had increased to 60.6 in January from 53.3 in December. The Present Situation Index increased to 31.0 and the Expectations Index increased to 80.3. Consumer opinion about current market conditions was more positive and the short term outlook was more optimistic than in December.
