Acres of Diamonds was the title of a speech given over 5,000 times by Russell Crowell between 1900 and 1925.
The speech was very popular and Crowell was paid to give the speech all over the United States. He used the proceeds from giving the speech to provide tuition for over 1,400 students to attend what became Temple University in Philadelphia.(more…)
