Aethlon Medical, Inc. (OTC:AEMD) went down 15.82% to $0.058 on the last trading session. The trading volume generated during the day exceeded 285 thousand, which is slightly higher than the daily average.
When the short volume data was published by FINRA it turned out that 7,519 shares of AEMD were exchanged in short transactions. In other words, the short activity was only 3% of the whole volume for the day.
As a matter of fact, in the middle of the session AEMD was featured in a promotional letter from Investor Ideas. The promoter indicated that AEMD has ordered the promotion in exchange of $1,500 and restricted shares in the amount of $5,000 each month.
Apparently, the promotion was not effective at all as the stock kept falling throughout the whole session. Neither was there any significant volume increase.
Last week, AEMD dropped below the 50-MA and at the same time the MACD turned down. Perhaps, it was this technical set up what pushed the stock further down on the last session.
