Today`s story is about bikes, horrors, action, bankruptcy, scams and Scott Cramer. Scott is the President of Affinity Mediaworks Cor.(OTC:AFFW), a company with a main target to become an industry leader in the Entertainment, Media and Leisure industry in the US and across the globe. Amazing, especially when you know that the history of the future global leader starts with bike rental in post-communist Ukraine. Well, it actually starts with lots of people losing money over bike rental in Ukraine that never happened.
So, back to present days. Due to the company’s announcements and paid promotions, Affinity saw some sharp increase in its stock price and is likely to continue to do so in the next few days. This is what actually the promotion states – skilled investors have the chance to make some money over night.
Now, speculative deals aside, it should still be worth to buy the stock, given its potential to become a global leader. Lets focus on this potential and check out the management team. It is unusually small for a future Paramount rival – only two people work there. One of them is the infamous Scott – he is the President, CEO, CFO, Treasurer, Secretary, Director. He does so many things that one might wonder – does this man sleep at all? In fact, he does, but many people lost sleep over investments they made in Affinity, back in the time when it was still Green Bikes Rental Corp.
So, let me give you a quick background about Green Bikes Rental Corp. As Scott was its President, the company did not commence operations, but it managed to create some hype so that people would buy the IPO. Then, instead of commencing activities, the company stated that roads in Ukraine are not designed to have bicycle traffic. Like spreading the word that you are going to sell SUVs to the natives in the Amazon Rainforests, and then saying to shareholders that there are actually no roads to drive them on, neither do they have a driver`s licence, nor do they need SUVs. Well, on the other hand, it might work just fine. Even if the company does not become a leader, maybe it will manage to survive and bring some profits to investors who stick with it. Maybe Scott will do the right things this time.
Nevertheless, we have to stick to real facts. By the way, did I mention the time when Scott worked at a financial services firm owned by the family? He did, but not for a long time, because it was shut down by the British Columbia Securities Commission. It again concerned lots of people losing money from investing in stocks. Consider this when looking at Affinity Mediaworks. A wise man once said that history often repeats itself, so we should all learn from it in order not to repeat the mistakes that people made in the past.
