Amdocs Corp. (DOX), a leading developer of customer relationship management and billing software for communications service providers, has won a contract to deploy the Amdocs Enterprise Product Catalog for Belgian cable MSO Telenet. The Amdocs Enterprise Product Catalog is a part of the company’s industry leading new state-of-the-art software suite called ‘Amdocs CES 8’.
 
Specially designed for the broadband industry, CES 8 provides a single platform capable of supporting complex requirements of traditional and next-generation triple-play voice, video, and data services as its focuses on addressing favorable market trends in the communications industry. Amdocs has the largest customer base and the broadest product line in the industry, including a full suite of end-to-end solutions for both Business Support Systems and Operations Support Systems. 

The Amdocs Enterprise Product Catalog will establish a single product information catalog through which Telenet will be able to modernize and automate product lifecycle management processes. The company will also be able to quickly define, blend, price, bundle, and maintain new offerings. This solution will facilitate Telenet to effectively monetize its assets, deliver superior services and improve operating performance.
 
Telenet Belgium is a division of Liberty Global Inc. (LBTYA), the second largest cable MSO of the world. Through its indirect controlling ownership interest in Telenet (50.7%), it provides broadband communications services in Belgium. At the end of 2009, Telenet had 2.3424 million customers, down 2.5% year-over-year. However, in the fourth quarter of 2009, the company performed superbly with total revenue of $469.3 million, up 26.2% year-over-year.
