A new promotional wave of Apps Genius Corp (OTC:APGS) has hit penny stock investors.
Since Tuesday dozens of newsletters has been flooding investors’ emails.
As pointed by the newsletters’ disclaimers the campaign was ordered by Emerging Equity Advisors.
The newsletters which were spread out on Tuesday disclosed a compensation of $25,000.
The next wave of newsletters which came yesterday brought disclaimers which revealed a compensation of $15,000.
The campaign was led by many stock promoters who apparently acted as one group. Among the promoters were well known names such as Whispers from Wall Street, Stock Preacher, Stock Hideout, Penny Stock Finder, Penny Stock Craze, Micro Stock Profit, Beacon Equity, OTC Stock Exchange etc.
Apparently third parties have put a lot of efforts to promote the company. The Hotstocked database shows that the company was heavily promoted in December and apparently the advertising campaign will continue this month as well.
However, the campaign had burnt many investors as the share price of APGS stock fell down sharply while the promotion was going on.
