Consumer Confidence figures are expected today at 10:00 AM. Consumer Confidence had increased to 52.5 in March from 46.4 in February. The Present Situation Index had increased to 26.0 and the Expectations Index had increased to 70.2 in March. Despite these increases, consumers continued to express concern about current market conditions and the short-term outlook continued to remain pessimistic.
