New Home Sales for March increased by 26.9% to a 411,000 annual pace, following a 324,000 pace in February, revised from 308,000. Over the year New Home Sales are up 23.8% from 332,000 in March of 2009. The median sales price was $214,000 and the average sales price was $258,600. The estimate of new houses for sale at the end of March was 228,000, representing a supply of 6.7 months at the current sales rate.
