Forexpros – Australia’s official house price index rose unexpectedly in the last quarter, official data showed on Wednesday.
In a report, Australian Bureau of Statistics said that Australian HPI rose to a seasonally adjusted 0.50%, from -0.10% in the preceding quarter whose figure was revised up from -1.10%.
Analysts had expected Australian HPI to fall -0.50% in the last quarter.
