Forexpros – Australia’s unemployment rate rose unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Thursday.
In a report, Australian Bureau of Statistics said that Australian unemployment rate rose to a seasonally adjusted 5.3%, from 5.2% in the preceding month.
Analysts had expected Australian unemployment rate to remain unchanged at 5.2% last month.
