1AGIJ_chart.pngSince the impact of last month’s massive advertising campaigns in favor of Axia Group, Inc. (USA) (PINK:AGIJ) only recently reached the point of complete exhaustion, two new promotional waves were launched on Apr. 6 and Apr. 7. As a result of the awareness program, which has so far cost interested parties at least $160 thousand, AGIJ stock gained 17.45%, closing at a two-month high of $0.0046 per share. 10.48 million shares of AGIJ stock changed hands, marking a three-fold increase over the daily average trading volume.

Last Wednesday, AGIJ announced that its subsidiary Collagenna Skin Care Products was on the verge of bringing its expansion in China to a successful end. Despite that positive news, the price of AGIJ stock remained unchanged, most probably due to the lack of current promotion at the time. As it seems, AGIJ has been so heavily promoted lately that its stock has now become fairly resistant to news. [BANNER]

Now, back to the China story. According to CEO Michael Arnkvarn, the transaction, which will ensure the marketing and distribution of Collagena products not only in China but also in other unspecified Asian regions, was a few days away from completion. Therefore, it is still considered a forward-looking statement and as such runs the risk of never becoming a reality.

4AGIJ_logo.jpgAxia Group, Inc. recently acquired its subsidiary Collagenna Skin Care. As the name of the latter suggests, it offers skin maintenance products, which implies that the company must have already started generating revenues. Yet, it took Arnkvarn ages to finally submit an up-to-date financial report. The document in question was published yesterday and it sheds light on the annual financial performance of AGIJ for the period ended Dec. 31, 2010. As seen from the balance sheet, the company has accrued:

  • negative working capital of $120K;
  • no long-term liabilities;
  • annual revenue in excess of $264K;
  • annual net loss of $36.5 thousand.

Provided that AGIJ does succeed in penetrating the vast Chinese market, it will be able to improve its financial health in the long-term, to the delight of its stockholders.
