SNAX_chart.gifHealthient Inc (OTC:SNAX) is traded on the OTC market. According to the company’s reports, the current name of the company is Snackhealthy, Inc. However, it is called the people running SNAX seem to be Katherine T. West and William Alverson.

Both of them were previously officers of Joystar, inc. Joystar had a lot of travel agents file a Chapter 7 involuntary petition for bankruptcy against it, and numerous other lawsuits for unpaid commissions.[BANNER]

Although the involvement of Alverson and West in SNAX is no secret, SNAX has been having some positive sessions on the stock market in the last several days. Yesterday, SNAX went up 44.44% to $0.39 on 201 thousand traded shares. More than half of the volume came from short selling according to FINRA’s daily regsho.

Apart from the management, SNAX doesn’t have much to boast with. These are some of the numbers in the latest 10-Q for the period ending March 31:

  • $21,927 cash
  • $98,147 total current assets
  • $104,959 total current liabilities
  • $98,741 revenues
  • $609,125 net loss

SNAX_logo.jpgShort traders could easily explain the current volumes. Then again, one shouldn’t overlook the possibility that West has decided to do some serious business this time around, although it doesn’t seem to be going particularly good so far.
