In recent news on the stock, Lazard Capital on Aug 10 reiterated its Buy rating on Liberty Media and raised its target to $64 from $59. Wunderlich on Aug 10 reiterated its Buy rating and raised its target to $65 from $60. Wunderlich said the stock price has been moving higher on share repurchases by the company. Liberty Media, with a market cap of $3.8 billion, has a broad range of interests in electronic retailing, media, communications, and the entertainment businesses, with its better known entities including QVC.com, Expedia.com, an interest in DIRECTV Group, Starz Media, and the Atlanta Braves baseball club.
