Barton Biggs, managing partner at Traxis Partners LP, discusses the outlook for the U.S. stock market and the European sovereign debt crisis. Biggs speaks with Bloomberg’s Deirdre Bolton.

Biggs offered his view on the U.S. economy, saying that he is optimistic and that he thinks “the next significant move in equity markets is up”. He also says that the European Union and the ECB are “very foolish” in terms of managing the crisis and that “you’ve got to risk overkill rather than doing too little.”
